AMIS ARS 1200

The AMIS twin-shaft shredder is equipped with a CNC-manufactured, solid grinding chamber, which is designed for easy maintenance and is fully bolted. The machine housing and bearings are protected by wear rings and plates. The geared motors drive the two hexagonal working shafts, which can be fitted with different, interchangeable cutting discs. The two working shafts are mounted in large SKF spherical roller bearings with lifetime lubrication. Optionally, an automatic, battery-powered continuous lubrication system for the main bearings can be installed.

Special Features
The machine housing does not need to be disassembled to replace the wear plates and scrapers. Thanks to the horizontally split bearing plates, the rotors including bearings can be installed or removed from above in the shortest possible time. This allows for easy and quick rotor replacement with different cutting tools. The size of the grinding chamber can be modified with relatively low effort thanks to the bolted housing design. The motor configuration, gearbox size, installation position, and rotor speed can be adjusted accordingly.

Electrical Control System
The machine is operated via a modern Siemens S7/1200 control system with an advanced 7-inch touchscreen display. Both geared motors are controlled with a load-dependent reversing circuit. Three different control programs are available, depending on the material and application.
