Atlas Copco GA5 VSD + FF oil-injected screw compressor with approx. 5 kW power, max. 12.75 bar pressure, supplying approx. 1.1 m³ compressed air per minute. Includes air dryer and a separate 500-liter storage tank (pressure vessel), manufacturer OKS, both from year of manufacture 2021, as well as a condensate pump.

The unit was used for only about 3.5 years in a bakery for basic pneumatic applications and cleaning purposes, with approx. 2,380 operating hours, of which 96% were in the 40 – 60% speed range. First commissioning: 08/2021 (only used regularly until approx. 05/2024). Original purchase price, excluding installation: approx. EUR 12,000 net.

This screw compressor is one of the most energy-efficient compressors from Atlas Copco and is the first choice for low life cycle costs. The VSD technology (Variable Speed Drive) automatically adjusts the motor speed based on actual compressed air demand, enabling average energy savings of 35–60% compared to fixed speed compressors, depending on the compressed air consumption profile.
