BOSSI

Line for the production of tubes and closed profiles from mild steel and stainless steel
with diameters from 20.0 mm to 70.0 mm and wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 3.5 mm. Different diameter ranges can be produced; it is only necessary to supply the appropriate set of rolls.

A tube or closed profile is formed by rolling strip of the required width and thickness using a set of rolls and is subsequently joined by TIG welding. During production, it undergoes a series of processing steps such as:
a) weld (seam) grinding
b) calibration
c) straightening
d) and cutting
The finished product, a "raw tube,” is then subjected to a further finishing process to achieve the desired surface structure. There are two surface treatment processes:
a) wet grinding using abrasive belts
b) and/or dry polishing using polishing discs and compounds.

CONSTRUCTION
The profiling machine incorporates automatic TIG welding from SAF.

c) Welding of 0.5 - 1.5 mm wall thickness products – torch E16
d) Welding of 1.5 - 3.5 mm wall thickness products – torch E25
e) RETRISAF cooling system
