Technical Description – Casolin Junior Frame Press

The "Casolin Junior" frame press is a hydraulic vertical frame press designed for the efficient production of medium and large series of window and door frames. It is manufactured by the Italian company Casolin G. & C. s.n.c. and intended for industrial-scale woodworking and window manufacturing operations.

Purpose of Application

This machine is used for hydraulic pressing and joining of window and door frames after pre-gluing or pre-assembly. It allows for even pressure distribution and high pressing force, ensuring precise frame geometry and a durable bond of the components.

Construction and Operation

The Casolin Junior is constructed as a free-standing vertical hydraulic press. It features a robust steel frame equipped with hydraulic vertical and horizontal cylinders, which bring together and secure the frames via defined pressing strokes. The pressing force is generated by an electrohydraulic system that provides both vertical and horizontal pressing actions.
