The chemagic Magnetic Separation Module I (chemagic MSM I) is an automated system for nucleic acid isolation, completing the process within one hour. It can simultaneously isolate viral RNA from 96 nasal mucosa swabs.

The Chemagen MSM-1 is a fully automated system designed for high-throughput isolation of nucleic acids (DNA/RNA). It utilizes a patented Magnetic Bead Technology, where magnetizable metal rods are immersed into process solutions to efficiently collect and resuspend bound particles.

Technical Specifications & Capacity

Throughput: The system is modular and can process 12, 24, or 96 samples simultaneously, depending on the rod head used.

Sample Volume: Offers high flexibility for volumes from 10 µl to 10 ml.

Processing Time:
- 96 samples (small volumes): approx. 15–60 minutes
- 24 samples (medium volumes): approx. 35–60 minutes
- 12 samples (large volumes): approx. 45–60 minutes

Technology: Particle resuspension is achieved by rotating the metal rods at up to 2,000 rpm, ensuring high yield and purity without cross-contamination.
