CORMAK IMET KS652

The KS 652 is a two-column, semi-automatic band saw designed as the ideal work tool for professionals who need to cut bars, pipes, profiles and other metal construction components—capable of miter cutting up to 60° both left and right.

Machine Description:

- The KS series saws are the only machines in their class that allow cutting both to the left and right—simply set and clamp the vise. Once the material is positioned, the operator can adjust the angle and rotate the bow without reopening the vise or moving the stock. The vise traverses laterally across the worktable, ensuring quick material access.

- The cutting arm is made from electro-welded tubular steel, guaranteeing high stability during the cutting process.
- Like all IMET saws, the KS model is equipped with high blade tension (2000 kg/cm²) and a saw tilted at 6°, which enhances material feed, reduces load, and optimizes cutting even for large cross-sections and solid materials.

- The wide worktable provides complete material support. The machine is highly user-friendly and easy to operate, thanks to an automatic stop system from 0° to 60° left/right and an angle scale on the table, making cutting position adjustment straightforward.

- For enhanced cutting accuracy, IMET saws are fitted with a deviation angle detection system.

- The mechanical material detection system enables fast approach to the workpiece by automatically sensing the first contact point, while the end of the cut is managed by a microswitch in the blade guide, ensuring precise blade positioning via hardened rollers and auxiliary bearings.

- All operational parameters and settings are controlled from an independent, mobile console with LED indicators for blade tension, blade guard, motor overheating, and electric voltage check.

- The console allows setting operational parameters such as blade speed, descent speed, and end-of-cycle management (options: bow return with stopped blade, bow return with running blade, or cycle end without bow return).

- Cutting performance can be further increased with the optional 4 kW motor, hydraulic blade tensioner, and high-tension hydraulic system (2200 kg/cm²).
