Construction and technology:

The CORMAK MM3156C drum sander was developed with industrial applications in mind. Reinforced sanding shaft design as well as high-quality bronze bushings and conveyor belt tensioners guarantee long service life and stable, backlash-free performance. The reinforced clutch ensures effective torque transfer from the 1.5 kW motor to the working shaft. The machine allows smooth feed adjustment in the range of 0–3 m/min, enabling adaptation of operating speed to the material type and sanding intensity.

The table guiding system features hardened linear guides and a cast iron body, effectively eliminating vibrations and increasing overall rigidity. A working width of 560 mm and a maximum workpiece height of 80 mm make this sander an optimal solution for both series production and precise one-off tasks.

The CORMAK MM3156C wood through-feed sander provides industrial-level precision thanks to a construction optimized for rigidity, guidance, and vibration damping. The minimum thickness of a processed element is 3.5 mm, and the minimum length is 600 mm. The sanding drum measuring 133 × 560 mm enables accurate and uniform removal of stock up to 0.5 mm per pass. Additionally, a Ø100 mm dust extraction port allows connection to a dust collection system, ensuring a clean working environment.
