The line ensures consistent surface quality, high efficiency, and minimizes operator involvement thanks to the use of robotic loading and unloading stations.

The line consists of:

• COSTA wide-belt sander with planing shaft and two sanding units with one pressure shoe (2017)
The machine allows for calibration, initial planing, and precise sanding of board and worktop surfaces. The two-unit system provides effective material removal and final surface finishing.

• Automatic loading station with ABB IRB 760 robot (2024)
A modern, high-performance robotic workspace for precise and rapid feeding of elements to the sander.

• Automatic unloading and palletizing station – ABB IRB 760 robot (2024)
A fully automated solution for retrieving finished components and stacking them on pallets, significantly improving production logistics.

• Conveyor with 180-degree turning mechanism for boards and worktops (2024)
Enables automatic flipping of elements during processing, so both sides can be machined without operator intervention.

• Edge milling machines for top/bottom automatic machining, mounted in-line with the wide-belt sander
An integrated solution permitting simultaneous processing of surfaces and edges, reducing cycle times and increasing overall line efficiency.
