The Sv‑63P pneumatic butt welding machine features a robust vertical construction comprising vertical clamping jaws and a sliding movable plate. Clamping is achieved via tandem cylinders, while the support plate on the static side is isolated from the main frame, which also carries the moving carriages connected to a horizontal cylinder for compressing the workpiece. The movement of the carriages is limited in both directions—for compression and opening—and the distance between the clamping jaws can be adjusted according to the cross-section or diameter of the workpiece. Clamping at the preset jaw spacing is controlled by foot pedals. An additional control cabinet with switches and buttons enables single or simultaneous clamping and supports both manual and automatic welding modes. After welding, the clamping jaws lift, and the carriages return to their starting position. Welding parameters are set using a controller mounted on the side of the machine. Welding voltage regulation is managed via thyristors, and the power transformer is fully encapsulated and water-cooled, connected to the contact jaws via laminated conductors. Internally, a power board with a thyristor and a main control board ensure smooth operation. A compressed air conditioning unit with a pressure regulator for adjusting the clamping force is located on the machine cover. The main switch to activate the machine is positioned at the welding parameter setting controller.
