The Deckel FP 2 LB universal milling machine is distinguished by its extremely robust base and is designed as a travelling column machine. This construction ensures that the machine maintains its precision even when machining heavy workpieces weighing up to 1000 kg.

Another feature is the 45-degree inclined bed. After removing the universal table, this design allows for the direct clamping and machining of V-engine blocks with a 90-degree cylinder angle, such as American V8 engines.

Additionally, the long travel distance of 800 mm is advantageous for this application.
