Series BSD — Universal external cylindrical grinders, medium to large sizes

Centre distance: 700 / 1000 / 1600 / 2500 / 3000 mm.
Centre height: 175 / 225 / 275 / 400 mm.
Max. workpiece weight: up to 500 kg.
Max. grinding wheel diameter: Ø 750 mm. Turret grinding head with up to 4 spindles.
Optional axes/functions: C axis (workpiece rotation, thread/non-circular grinding). Control: PLC (NC) / CNC.
Applications: external cylindrical, face, taper, thread, profile grinding; combination with ID grinding also possible.

Series BSE — Universal external cylindrical grinders for large/long workpieces

Centre distance: 1500 / 3000 / 4000 mm.
Centre height: 315 / 400 mm.
Max. workpiece weight: up to 2,500 kg.
Max. grinding wheel diameter: Ø 900 mm. Turret grinding head with up to 4 spindles.
Optional axes/functions: C / B / U / Q (including swivel workpiece clamping, swivel chuck). Control: PLC (NC) / CNC.
Applications: Ideal for single-clamping of complex external machining with high form accuracy.

Core technology (both series)

Machine bed: ribbed grey cast iron, naturally aged; flat/V-guides, hand scraped, anti-friction coating. X/Z axes with ball screws, AC servos, linear scales.
Grinding head: left/right/fixed angle; turret with up to 4 spindles; automatic dynamic balancing starting from Ø 250 mm.
Tailstock: hydraulic actuated, adjustable force, taper correction. Optional W axis.
Internal grinding (optional): belt or HF spindles, direct drive, water cooling.
