The hydraulically controlled pusher feeds the wood waste to be shredded into the rotor cutting area and is automatically controlled depending on load. The high-performance E-rotor, made of solid steel, features a diameter of 252 mm and operates at a rotor speed of 85–95 rpm. The concavely ground, aggressive, and four-way reversible knives/cutting crowns are set in milled knife pockets on special knife holders. This highly efficient system ensures high throughput, low energy consumption, and optimal discharge of shredded material by minimizing the cutting gap between counter-knife and rotor. Chip size (10–60 mm) depends on the screen perforation.
