For sale is this used Husmann HFG IV (HFG4) shredder, year of manufacture 2016.

Operating hours: 1,685 h

All 60 flail tips were replaced recently, just a few operating hours ago. Some spare flails are still available and will be supplied with the machine.

All 8 V-belts were replaced recently as well.

Both NOx sensors and AdBlue sensors are new.

Important note: Tow bar is bent, so currently no road approval is possible.

“These powerful Husmann machines with the basic designation ‘HFG (Husmann Forestry Equipment)’ achieve uniform, fine, and clean shredding thanks to special impact technology and the arrangement of the flails.

The shredded material is fed from a spacious receiving hopper equipped with a forged steel chain conveyor to the feed roller, and forwarded to the flail rotor. The pendulum-mounted feed roller runs on rack rails and is hydraulically driven by a heavy-duty reduction gearbox. The feed roller adapts automatically to the incoming material and can also be actuated and raised via remote control. The roller or passage opening of 460 mm ensures smooth and efficient material intake.

The sturdy rotor, made from high-quality steel (1,000 kg), is additionally reinforced and, thanks to advanced engineering, is break-proof even when foreign objects enter. Sixty free-swinging flails are mounted on eight hardened flail shafts. The quick-change system allows for bolting of carbide-tipped flail tips onto the flail holders. The large number of 50 mm wide flails and the rotor’s movement over a breaker bar towards the feed conveyor ensures optimal fragmentation of the material for composting. The load-dependent and steplessly adjustable feed speed of the moving floor and the feed roller further influences and enhances the end product’s quality.

The design of the rotor housing and discharge area allows windrowing up to 2.5 meters high.

The powerful 205 kW superstructure engine is easily accessible through large service doors, ensuring easy operation and maintenance. Clearly arranged controls and safety features, such as rotor overload protection and reverse function, are quality standards of our plant.

The mobile shredding plant features an 80 km/h running gear with air brakes and can optionally be equipped for stationary use or with a hook lift frame.
