The 18 BT-9U is equipped with an electric steering system that operates with high efficiency. Power is delivered via a twin motor drive system. The installed ZF drive unit, Schabmüller motor, and ZAPI controller are particularly durable. With its semi-permanently oil-cooled disc brakes, the electric forklift is reliable and consistently at your service. The Continental solid rubber tires are also designed for long-lasting performance.

The forklift is easy to maintain. The side-mounted battery allows for quick removal and replacement. All vehicle data can be read quickly via the self-diagnosis function. The brake fluid reservoir can also be accessed and refilled with just a few steps. To further enhance the performance of the electric forklift, it has been constructed in a compact manner. Additionally, energy consumption has been improved—the battery runtime of the 18 BT-9U has been increased by 21% compared to its predecessor.

Safe & Ergonomic Operation
To ensure driver safety, the electric forklift is fitted with a panoramic mirror, fork lowering valves, an electric parking brake, and a robust overhead guard. The operator has a clear view of the forks and the load at all times due to the wide field of vision. The operator presence detection system ensures the 18 BT-9U can only be moved when the driver is seated. For safer cornering, the travel speed is automatically reduced in curves. The anti-roll-back feature prevents the forklift from rolling backwards when stopped on ramps.

The operator cabin is generously sized for ergonomic maneuvering. Easy-to-operate fingertip controls and a suspended comfort seat provide a comfortable working environment. All levers can be actuated effortlessly. The LCD color monitor displays all key operating parameters at a glance, such as speed and battery status.
