Description
The Instron 2663-822 Standard Video Extensometer (SVE) is a non-contact optical measurement system designed for the precise acquisition of strain during tensile, compression, and flexural tests. Utilizing digital image processing, the SVE tracks markers on the specimen surface without any mechanical interference with the test results. This makes it ideal for applications where traditional contact extensometers (e.g., with knife edges) are unsuitable, such as with thin, sensitive, or elastic materials.
The SVE is compatible with Instron materials testing machines and can be integrated via Bluehill software (depending on the system version).
Special features:
