Purpose of Use
The automatic high-performance longitudinal circular saw KMS is designed for precise finish and joint cuts. It offers a robust, durable construction and is intended for continuous industrial operation in wood, plastic, or metal processing applications.

Machine Design
Stable, welded steel frame in heavy-duty construction.
Motor protection switch with automatic star-delta starting.
Carriage guidance via precision round steel rails and ball-bearing rollers; rails mounted on interchangeable supports.
The entire carriage unit is positioned beneath the front machine table.

Saw Unit
Lowerable circular saw assembly, raised electro-pneumatically.
Cutting height adjustment manually via threaded spindle.
Continuously adjustable feed rate from 1–60 m/min, driven by frequency-controlled motor.
Return speed constant at 60 m/min, independent of feed rate.
Cut length reduction for various cut lengths adjustable via selector switch.

Machine Table
Front machine table constructed from braced longitudinal beams, adjustable and stably mounted.
Table surface made of profiled steel sheets with recessed handle grips.
Freely suspended width stop, supported and guided on three sides.
Spindle drive with fine adjustment via handwheel, scale directly readable.
Usable width: 400 mm (standard version).
Electro-pneumatically controlled stop rail with automatic retraction for unobstructed ejection of cut material.
Rear machine table is narrow, can be pivoted down electro-pneumatically for unobstructed material fall during longitudinal cuts.

Saw Blade and Extraction
Designed for saw blades Ø 400 mm, bore Ø 30 mm, mount Ø 80 mm.
Maximum cutting height: 70 mm.
Integrated extraction duct, Ø 150 mm.

"DUO" Twin Circular Saw Unit
For pre-cut and reverse-cut operations, comprising two saw blades Ø 400 mm and two motors, each with 11 kW (15 HP).
Total cutting length: 3200 mm.
Pressure beam in torsion-resistant design with parallel guidance, lifting motion electro-pneumatically controlled.
Integrated finger contact protection bar.
