Automated saw for qualitative sorting of boards – Edger-Crosscut saw-Conveying unit for sawmill wood sorting JRIMAC Twin-Cut
This system is designed for optimal cutting and sorting to separate grades.
Edger (meets current safety standards): Cutting length 6.0 m – Cutting height 120 mm – Cutting width against the fence max. 380 mm – Retractable blade cuts in both directions (forward and return) – Pressure bar with safety device – Positioning lasers – Adjustable sawing speed
Crosscut saw: Cutting unit at both ends – Unit 1 = fixed – Unit 2 can be positioned at: 4,000, 5,000, and max. 6,000 mm.
Conveying unit – Boards are fed to the edger from the right by toothed wheels – The operator longitudinally rips the boards, marking the quality (X, O, //, etc.) – Offcuts are automatically ejected from the rear into a bin – The edged wood is conveyed and automatically cut to the desired length – End trims are discharged into bins or bags – Boards then travel on roller conveyors to be picked and stacked by a third party according to grade
Scissor lift table (not included in machine price) – Upstream, the wood is placed on a scissor lift table and brought to the height of the edger/operator
400 Volts – 63A – 22 kW – Saw blade Ø 550 mm – Control panel with programmable touch screen
Machine dimensions: Length 8.80 m x Width 4.40 m x Total height 3.50 m – Conveyor length to stacking area 15.0 m – Complete system fits within an 8.80 x 19.5 m footprint – 3,200 kg
Existing clientele: There is currently an established client base in French-speaking Switzerland for wood selected by quality criteria – This external market can also be sold.
