The XL CNC Economic, a powerful, fast, and precise new Smart XL model, is designed for companies in the small and medium-sized sheet metal processing sector. The ESA S 640 2D series CNC controls, which are installed as standard on the press brakes, process multi-stage components in a single pass using direct angle programming and a bending step system, with the steps automatically controlled by the CNC.

Programmability of upper beam position, dwell time at the bending point, opening speed of the upper beam after bending, as well as bending speed, allows even challenging bends to be performed easily and also contributes to faster production cycles.

Thanks to the ability to program 2D parts and tools on a computer, programs for subsequent parts can be created while the machine is operating. The bending steps are automatically selected and transferred to the machine via USB or local network.
