A complete longitudinal beam welding system (vehicle frame) by Merkle is available, comprising a tack welding station, a cooling station, and a longitudinal beam welding machine. Beam height range: 70mm-500mm, max. beam length: 13,700mm, flange width: 120mm/150mm, flange thickness range: 5mm-20mm, web plate thickness range: 3mm-10mm, clear width: 85mm-500mm, web offset at 15° transition: 50mm.

1) Welding system, track length: 20m, rotation device: 0°-45°, total clamping and tacking area: 14,300mm, guide spacing: 500mm, roller conveyor height: 800mm, welding process: MIG/MAG pulse arc, travel speed: 6m/min, vertical stroke: 800mm, horizontal stroke: 2x270mm, power sources: 2x HighPulse 550 RS, torch: MSB 400W.

2) Tack welding device, tack position: 45°, max. changeover time: 10 min.

3) Transport and cooling line, tack area roller conveyor length: 15,000mm, buffer and cooling area roller conveyor length: 15,180mm, welding area roller conveyor length: 18,055mm, roller diameter tack/buffer/welding: 80mm/80mm/200mm, roller width: 245mm/245mm/2,200mm.
