• The spindle was repaired in 2017 and has mainly been used in single-shift operation since then; as we primarily manufacture individual parts and small batches, the machine has mostly been used for setup work

Known issues:
Rapid traverse on the X-axis has been reduced by 20% so that the telescopic covers last longer
Seal ring on pallet changer is probably damaged, resulting in oil loss. As a temporary solution, we have installed a ball valve in between; whenever we change pallets (which we do infrequently), we open it.
