Ceramic grinding media are especially suitable for processing hard materials such as steel, but they are also ideal for deburring aluminum components. Due to their higher weight, they exert increased pressure on the workpieces and provide excellent grinding performance. Compared to plastic media, ceramic media are significantly more durable and cost-efficient.

When selecting the appropriate grinding media, it is crucial to find the optimal configuration in terms of grinding performance, surface finish, geometry, and size.

- Triangles & Triangular Angle Cut (D & DS): Their edges make them ideal for deburring and also enable them to reach a variety of complex areas on the workpieces.

- Tridents (DZ): These are effective for hard-to-reach areas, such as grooves or gear teeth.

- Cylinders & Cylinder Angle Cut (Z & ZS): The cylindrical shape is particularly suitable for achieving a uniform surface finish, e.g., in polishing processes. Additionally, their narrow design allows for easy separation.

- Ellipses & Elliptical Angle Cut (E & ES): These are also suitable for polishing and smoothing. Their corners allow them to reach deeper areas on the workpieces.

- Wings (W): These combine the benefits of triangles and tridents. Their "wings" allow them to reach complex areas, while their edges and compact design make them suitable for deburring and applying effective pressure to the workpiece.
