Similar to ceramic media, plastic grinding media are available in a wide range of abrasive strengths, shapes, and sizes. Based on your specific parts, we will determine the optimal media for your process.

Overview of the different shapes and their properties:

- Cone (K): With their high specific gravity, cones ensure good material removal rates. The rounded shape allows for gentle processing.

- Pyramids (P): Thanks to their edges, pyramids are ideally suited for deburring applications. Their pointed form enables them to reach even hard-to-access areas such as drilled holes.

- Tridents (DZ): Perfect for working on complex components, such as gear parts or workpieces with grooves.

- Paraboloids (PA): Similar to cones, paraboloids, due to their rounded shape, excel at smoothing and polishing, providing the workpieces with gentle and uniform processing.

- Lens (L): Due to their lighter weight, lenses are suitable for soft materials, delivering gentle and even material removal.

- Wedge (K): Thanks to their versatile geometry, wedges are ideal for deburring. The pointed shape allows access to hard-to-reach slit areas.

- Tetrahedrons (T): Functioning similarly to pyramids, tetrahedrons utilize their edges for efficient deburring. With their sharper-pointed corners, they are even better suited for complex areas.
