The new cold-regenerating adsorption dryer from Parker Zander combines proven and reliable components of adsorption technology and impresses with a clear concept.
Distinctive features of the K-MT adsorption dryer series such as:
• One-piece adsorber profiles
• Separately controlled main and exhaust valves in a leak-proof design
• Compact non-return valve combination, guarantee continuous operational safety with high availability.
All K-MT series adsorption dryers feature:
• Self-cleaning sieve plates on the wet side
• High-quality desiccant
During adsorption, the desiccant absorbs the moisture contained in the compressed air. Parker Zander exclusively uses highly active molecular sieve desiccants with high capacity. This desiccant ensures a long service life, even at high inlet temperatures or low pressure dew points. Regeneration is carried out in counterflow to adsorption. A portion of the dried compressed air is depressurized to atmospheric pressure and passed through the desiccant bed to be regenerated. The moisture stored during adsorption is expelled by the partial flow of dry regeneration air.
The regeneration air requirement of 14.3% for cold-regenerated adsorption dryers is based on:
Operating pressure: 7 bar
Inlet temperature: 35°C
Pressure dew point: -40°C
per cycle comprising:
- 5 minutes adsorption
- 4 minutes desorption
- 1 minute pressure build-up
The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle, with 5 minutes of adsorption, involves 12 load changes per hour. The standard 6-minute cycle in the market, with 3 minutes of adsorption, requires 20 load changes per hour, resulting in 5.6% higher regeneration. The Parker Zander 10-minute cycle reduces energy costs and component wear.
Multitronic Control System
With new, pioneering features and a modern design, the multitronic control is perfectly tailored to the K-MT series cold-regenerating adsorption dryers. It enables highly effective adaptation of the adsorption dryer to various operating conditions. From a permanently visible status to pressure dew point control, the multitronic system ensures significant benefits for the operator.
Housed in a clear and easily accessible control cabinet, the multitronic system offers:
• Comfortable microprocessor control for all Parker Zander heatless dryer systems
• Flexible cycle time settings
• LEDs on the front panel for individual functions like
