The robust Junior R1 offers all the features required from a modern edge sander.
A heavy-duty cast iron sanding unit with a powerful motor ensures maximum sanding performance. The height-adjustable worktable with spring pressure allows for optimal use of the sanding belt and safe operation.
The top section is made of heavy cast construction with an integrated three-phase motor, 380 V, 2.2 kW, 2,850 rpm; the machine comes equipped with a built-in switch-plug combination;
motor protection switch and main switch compliant with VDE standards; sanding belt backing size: 850 x 150 mm; steel table height adjustable by spring pressure; belt size: 150 x 2280 mm; the sanding belt backing is covered with a graphite slip lining.
The machine is dust-tested (GS) when connected to a central extraction system with an air velocity of at least 20 m/s.
