For sale is a used temperature calibrator from the manufacturer Sika, based in Kaufungen, Germany (Made in Germany).
The device was exclusively used in our calibration laboratory as a micro bath/oil bath and is no longer needed. No additional accessories are included, but these can be obtained from the manufacturer. (Other measurement equipment shown in the images is not part of this offer.)

Micro bath function
When temperature sensors with unusual shapes and dimensions need to be tested, using calibration liquids offers advantages. The test object is immersed directly into the liquid without any insulating air gaps, providing direct thermal contact between calibrator and test object. The liquid, such as silicone oil, is selected according to the required calibration temperature. Stepless magnetic stirrer control, paired with a removable sensor basket, ensures thorough mixing of the calibration fluid and creates a large uniform measuring zone. Furthermore, the sensor basket allows for uninterrupted stirring and offers protection for the tank base.
Dry block function
The dry block function was developed to enable easy temperature calibration both in the laboratory and in the field. Optimal thermal coupling between the block and test object is achieved by using an appropriate adapter sleeve. Ideally, the bore in the sleeve should be 0.5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the test object. Using the adapter sleeves, almost all straight temperature sensors with different lengths and diameters can be calibrated. The dry block covers the full temperature range without needing to change the calibration medium. The user does not need to worry about viscosities, flash points, or outgassing.

Blackbody function
A patented infrared calibration sleeve is used for the calibration of IR pyrometers or thermal imaging cameras. The special surface structure and asymmetric shapes create a "black cavity radiator" with an emissivity of 0.9994, which prevents the reflection of stray radiation and emits the desired temperature in an optimal way. The pyrometer is simply held at the prescribed distance above the measuring opening, thus allowing the sensor to properly target the measuring spot at the base for calibration. Direct mounting of a tripod is possible.
Surface temperature function
Surface temperature sensors are calibrated using special sleeves that are applied vertically with the required contact pressure. The best possible surface reference point is achieved by switching the calibrator's control over to the external reference probe.
