The Supfina 200 superfinishing device is an attachment for the machining of cylindrical shafts for stone finishing operations. It is suitable for processing pre-ground or fine-turned surfaces. The device performs an oscillating movement, and workpiece infeed is achieved either via a pneumatic cylinder or through the lathe's carriage. Due to its easy installation on a lathe, the Supfina 200 superfinishing device is particularly suitable for repair work, custom manufacturing, and small production runs. The unit is very robust and thus well-suited for continuous and multi-shift operation. The oscillation stroke, which can be infinitely adjusted between 0 - 5 mm, remains virtually constant even under load. As a result, plunge finishing operations between shoulders can be performed reliably and without overtravel, even with small recess widths (less than 1 mm). For efficient machining, diameters from 1 to 300 mm are recommended for short workpieces.
