Description:
For sale is a WaterEvent SWT 1000 test chamber from Weiss Technik – ideal for standardized testing of enclosure or component ingress protection ratings against water. With optional equipment, testing according to IPX9K (high-pressure/steam-jet), ISO 20653, and other standards is possible.

Possible protection classes & test capabilities
The SWT system can, depending on configuration, support a wide range of tests:
Basic configuration: IPX3 / IPX4 tests (spray water and splashing water from all directions).
Optional: Higher protection classes up to IPX5 / IPX6 (jet water), and—with appropriate high-pressure equipment—up to IPX9 or IPX9K.
Testing can be conducted in accordance with standards such as DIN EN 60529 (for IP ratings) or ISO 20653 (e.g. for automotive or outdoor applications)—according to the intended use.
