ZHS – The Economical All-rounders

The ZHS series features a load-dependent, hydraulically actuated pusher, which feeds the material in a slightly inclined, horizontal motion towards the rotor. The material is cut between the rotor and stator knives until it falls through the screen, which is installed and bolted below the rotor. The interchangeable screen defines the final output particle size. The shredded material can be discharged via a conveyor belt, discharge auger, or pneumatically using an extraction system.

The ZHS single-shaft shredders are designed for light to medium-duty applications in the plastics industry.

Technical details:

• Roller-mounted hydraulic pusher with horizontal movement
• Bolted knives and knife holders
• Optional with segmented floor for particularly thin parts and materials
• Rotor aggressiveness can be reduced or increased by bolted filler pieces
• Can be integrated as a pre-shredder in a two-stage system with a granulator
