In multi-layer parquet production lines, this machine is typically positioned after the press, allowing the parquet slats exiting the press to be directly transferred to the Zefiro grooving machine for milling/sawing grooves into the plywood base.
These grooves on the underside make the finished parquet strips more flexible and elastic. This treatment makes the parquet far less susceptible to deformation, which usually occurs due to humidity. As a result, the overall quality of the parquet flooring is significantly improved.
