In every calculation in the economy and public life, waste transport is a key factor. In this context, volume matters more than weight. Continuously rising transport costs for this waste are becoming an increasing economic problem.

Proper disposal of large quantities of polystyrene (Styrofoam) or packaging films is especially important in the retail sector. The VOLUME REDUCER delivers a volume reduction of up to 80 percent at this point. Bottles of all types and sizes, such as sparkling wine bottles, can be crushed without a pressing device.

Unpacking expired foodstuffs is also possible. Furthermore, defective products such as medications, data carriers, or counterfeit goods can be rendered unusable. Food leftovers and waste, including bones, can be shredded using the VR60, collected, and converted into electricity and heat in biogas plants.

Consider also a deposit bottle return machine: PET bottles are compacted and kept locked until transport due to the barcode.

Using the VOLUME REDUCER, the barcodes of PET bottles could be destroyed, achieving significant volume reduction. Shredded bottles could then be collected in a bulk container and would no longer need to be collected daily from return points. The vertically moving, wear-free blades of the shredder ensure quiet and jam-free operation.
