The CORMAK CL series pulsed cleaning lasers are industrial machines designed for fast, precise, and contactless removal of contaminants from metal, non-metal, and wooden surfaces. Depending on the application requirements, three power variants are available – CL200, CL300, and CL500 – all based on JPT MOPA pulsed fiber sources. This ensures high process stability, a wide parameter adjustment range, and the capability to work on both delicate parts and demanding surfaces.

CORMAK cleaning lasers effectively remove rust, coatings, paints, operational deposits, oxides, oil residues, resins, and other stubborn contaminants. With adjustable pulse energy, frequency, and duration, the process can be adapted for both precise, selective cleaning of molds, dies, tools, and precision components, or for efficient preparation of larger surfaces for subsequent processes (welding, painting, bonding). The contactless process minimizes the risk of mechanical damage, micro-cracks, or substrate deformation.

Using JPT sources in MOPA mode provides a broad adjustment range for frequency and pulse width, optimally matching energy density to the type of contamination and base material. The long fiber optic cable enhances flexibility when working at a greater distance from the main unit, which is appreciated by users working on large structures, production lines, or in-situ elements (steel structures, molds, facades, machine components). All models operate at 1064 nm wavelength, ensuring high effectiveness on typical industrial materials – structural and stainless steels, aluminum alloys, and many other technical substrates.

The CL series devices are air-cooled and do not require process gases or abrasives, simplifying installation, lowering operating costs, and making the cleaning process more environmentally friendly. High scanning speeds and adjustable beam parameters help reduce processing times compared to traditional methods such as sandblasting, shot blasting, or chemical cleaning, while delivering consistent results and excellent surface quality after cleaning.
