Surface Grinder 400x1000 is an advanced machine designed for precise surface grinding of flat workpieces in the machining industry. The Surface Grinder 400x1000 is based on a solid bed construction, providing rigidity and minimizing vibrations during operation. The spindle, running at 1,450 rpm, is mounted in precision bearings to guarantee stable operation of the grinding wheel with dimensions 350 x 40 x 127 mm. The hydraulic system manages the longitudinal table feeds in the range of 7~23 m/min, while automatic cross and vertical feeds enable accurate movement control. The work table, sized 406x1020 mm, is equipped with an electromagnetic chuck for easy and secure workpiece clamping, enhancing safety. An integrated coolant system with a 0.14 kW pump effectively dissipates heat, preventing thermal deformation.

In the Surface Grinder 400x1000, precision is directly derived from advanced feed and control mechanisms. Automatic intermittent feed in the range of 0.1~8 mm and vertical feed increments starting at 0.005 mm allow for tolerances below 0.01 mm, which is essential for manufacturing parts with strict dimensional requirements. Productivity is enhanced by the maximum table travel of 450x1130 mm at a cross-feed speed up to 990 mm/min, enabling fast machining of large surfaces without loss of accuracy.
