Açıklama
Used concentration/evaporation system (evaporator). Previously employed for separating water from a surfactant. The plant’s process throughput was approximately 8–12 m³/day of water and surfactant mixture. The system was manufactured by Ecotecno in 2011/2012 and was decommissioned in April 2022.
Process description:
The evaporator was in operation from 2012 to 2022. It distilled wastewater containing solids, up to approximately 40% of the total liquid volume. According to the owner’s experience, the actual throughput was between 8 m³ and 12 m³ per day. The system includes a vacuum distillation tank (evaporator) S101, a shell-and-tube heat exchanger (E101) acting as a condenser through which the wastewater is circulated by a circulation pump (P102). The shell-and-tube heat exchanger heats the liquid for distillation. The concentrate is then removed from the system by a discharge pump (P103). Vapours pass through a plate heat exchanger (E102) and are collected in a collection tank (S103), and both distillate and concentrate are discharged from the system. Non-condensed vapours pass through a vacuum pump (P101) and enter the vacuum pump tank (S102), where they are cooled by an internal coil.
The system can be described as a single-stage vacuum evaporator with condenser. It features a vacuum flash tank, distillate tank, vacuum tank, and a plate heat exchanger.
