Our universal lathes and continuously variable speed lathes from the PREMIUM CU series offer a wide range of features and accessories for customers across various industries.

The PREMIUM CU series allows precise adjustment of cutting speed to the workpiece material and turning diameter – especially advantageous when machining non-ferrous metals, plastics, and for achieving perfect surfaces on precision parts and fits.

A noteworthy feature is the R/L control units mounted on the tool slide, enabling easy switching between clockwise and counterclockwise spindle rotation. These replace the conventional shifting rods found on standard universal lathes.

Efficient handling is provided by electromechanical spindle brakes for ultra-fast spindle stops. The leadscrews are equipped with overload protection.
