We offer an unpacking and screening station as well as an unused roller mixing station from EOS GmbH. This mixing station is specifically designed for use with wide-neck drums. It enables efficient blending of screened used powder with virgin powder over a predetermined period. The processed powder can then be utilized in EOS Formiga P100 or P110 systems.

The unpacking and processing station consists of:
• an unpacking area
• a screening unit for used powder
• a feed for virgin powder
• and a scale for the preparation of plastic powder.

After removal from the machine, the cooled exchange frame is placed into the unpacking and reprocessing station. By gradually raising the build platform using a foot pedal, the powder bed with the components is pushed out of the exchange frame. The sintered components are manually unpacked from the powder bed. Reusable used powder from the powder bed is pushed onto the adjacent perforated sheet and falls through a hose into a screening bowl. The used powder is screened into a powder container, which sits on a scale beneath the screening unit. The scale allows the precise determination of the screened quantity of recycled powder. Subsequently, a previously determined amount of virgin powder is added to the recycled powder in the container by turning the hand crank. The blended plastic powder then needs to be mixed on the mixing station and can subsequently be reintroduced into the build process.

Mixing station
We offer an unused EOS GmbH roller mixing station. At the mixing station, virgin and recycled powders, which have been filled into powder containers at the unpacking and processing station, are blended. A powder container is placed onto the mixer, which then rotates the container continuously for a pre-set period. Once the specified mixing time has elapsed, the mixer stops automatically and the powder container can be removed.
