Pure Water RKA-600 Reverse Osmosis System RO 250/75 CP213e
The introduction of newly developed glass types and advanced rinsing processes demands a high level of process engineering expertise in water treatment. Precisely coordinated process combinations—including particle filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, ultrafiltration, or electrodeionization (EDI)—ensure consistently high water quality. Time and time again.

Water treatment inspired by nature: reverse osmosis
The experts at EnviroFALK develop reverse osmosis systems, commonly referred to as 'RO systems', that are precisely tailored to diverse application areas. The demineralized water is required for industrial processes as well as for use in hospitals, laboratories, and medical technology.
How Reverse Osmosis Works – RO
Reverse osmosis (RO system) is based on the principle of osmosis, observable in nature, for example, when cherries burst after a summer rain. The cherry contains a concentrated solution—cherry juice. The raindrop is the diluted solution. The cherry skin acts as a semi-permeable membrane, balancing concentrations. The solvent passes through the membrane into the cherry. As the system strives for equilibrium and the cherry's volume cannot expand, the pressure inside rises, producing osmotic pressure. In nature, this rising pressure causes the cherry to burst. Reversing this effect results in a reverse osmosis system: pressure is applied to the concentrated solution to overcome its osmotic pressure. The solvent moves through the membrane once more, while all dissolved solids remain on the concentrate side.
Reverse Osmosis Water Filter (RO)
Reverse osmosis (RO system) is a membrane process that removes ions and particulate matter from water, thus reversing the natural process of osmosis. In RO systems, the saline solution (e.g., softened municipal water) is forced under pressure through semi-permeable membranes arranged in spiral-wound elements. Only the solvent—pure water—passes through the membrane, resulting in very low-salt 'permeate'. All other water constituents are concentrated and must be discharged into the drain flow as 'concentrate.'
