THE COST-EFFECTIVE MANDREL BENDING MACHINE FOR TIGHT BENDING RADII

For tube dimensions from 15 to 100 mm, this bending system offers solutions for complex geometries with standard radii from 2xD. Depending on material quality and wall thickness ratio, series production of radii as small as 1.5xD is also possible. With a tool height of 120 mm, there are ample options for custom profiles.

The highly precise and powerful electric drive of the bending axis, as well as the robust and rigid design of the mandrel support and bending arm, contribute to the desired bending results.

Plug-in bending tools allow for rapid changeovers to different tube dimensions. The clamping pressure for tube securing can be optimally adjusted. The PLC control (expandable via USB stick) with data storage and the latest X2X interface can store virtually unlimited programs for bend angles, length measurements, and rotation angles for up to 50 bending sequences along one tube.

A freely programmable database for up to 200 materials is available for monitoring springback values. The control system offers two operating modes: In "Simple Bending" mode, the length and rotation of the arcs relative to each other are displayed automatically. In "Controlled Bending" mode, the data is stored beforehand and a constant target/actual value comparison is conducted during the bending process.

Also available with pneumatic rotary stop or gearbox-assisted length and rotation positioning.
