Saw Unit Guidance
High-performance sawing technology requires backlash-free, low-maintenance guide systems. Two vertical square guide columns, one linear guidance unit with backlash-free set carriage as well as two preloaded and adjustable running rollers on a guide rail ensure high rigidity and cutting precision. The new KASTOtec is characterized by higher machining capacity, shorter cutting times, high guidance system reliability, longer blade life, and maintenance-free operation.

Saw Blade Guidance
Side guidance by hydraulically preloaded carbide sliding guides, with quick-release device for fast blade changes. Backing guidance via pivot-mounted carbide sliding guides. Automatic adjustment of the moving blade guide to match the material width.

Material Lift-Out Device
After completion of the sawing operation in the automatic cycle, the workpiece is moved approx. 2 mm away from the feed-side saw blade via a material lift-out device while clamped (increases blade life).
