Used isobaric complete bottling line for still and sparkling wine up to 4500 bottles/h
This complete bottling line has been designed and configured to provide a high-quality, consistent filling process for both still and sparkling wines. It is based on an isobaric triblock system, integrating rinsing, filling, and capping operations in a continuous flow to ensure excellent efficiency while maintaining product integrity. Currently, the line is configured for still wines at a capacity of 4,500 bottles per hour and for sparkling wines at 3,000 bottles per hour.
The system is already technically prepared for sparkling wine production and only requires, if needed, a mushroom corker, a capsule applicator for Spumante hoods, and a heat shrink tunnel.
This line is equipped with specialized conveyors, a central lubrication system, and separate control panels for conveyor management, facilitating easy maintenance and integration into existing plant automation. The entire layout follows a linear configuration optimized for space utilization and ensures smooth product transfer between individual stages without unnecessary accumulation points.
Filling process and core equipment
At the start of the line, empty bottles are automatically fed into the system via a depalletizer. This device gently lifts and transfers the bottles onto the infeed table while preserving their integrity. The bottles are then fed to the triblock system, where three essential operations are carried out in sequence: rinsing, filling, and capping.

The isobaric filling technology ensures precise fill levels and uniform carbonation in sparkling wines and is also perfectly suited for still wine bottling. The filling valves are designed to minimize oxygen uptake, which is crucial for preserving the sensory attributes and shelf life of the wine. The rinser operates with either clean water or a sanitizing solution to ensure bottles are free of contaminants before filling. The capping turret, currently configured for still wine closures, can be used with BVS screw caps or traditional corks, depending on the selected format.
A dosing unit for gum arabic is integrated into the line. This system allows accurate addition of stabilizers after filling, helping to maintain wine clarity and prevent precipitation during storage. A dedicated steam generator (evaporator) is included for line disinfection and, when needed, preheating applications.
