The Magirus-Deutz Uranus was a truck model produced by German commercial vehicle manufacturer Magirus-Deutz in Ulm. With 250 hp from an air-cooled V12 engine by Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz, the Uranus was the most powerful truck produced in Germany at the time. This heavy-duty, three-axle vehicle was introduced in 1954 as the A12000 Uranus and was used as a chassis for fire and military crane vehicles as well as for heavy-duty tractors. There were also variants as a tractor unit and as a tipper, mainly for export purposes. This particular vehicle is a truly stunning collector's item, with an interior in exceptionally well-preserved original condition, which is of course attributable to the very low mileage.
