MERCEDES-BENZ Vario 814D Doka Maxi 6 Sitz DiffSperre orig40tkm

Interesting MB Vario 814 D as a Maxi panel van with a variable double cab – either 6 seats, or 2 seats and 2 berths, as well as a living area with kitchen and WC/washroom located in the center of the vehicle. In the rear section of the cargo hold there are built-in shelving units and a workbench. The van features two additional swing doors on the right side, with a partition wall separating the living space from the cargo area.

This vehicle comes directly from the Federal Police and was custom-built by coachbuilder Christian Miesen for use as a diving support vehicle.

The bodywork still has some rust damage on the doors and hatches that were installed later; however, the sills and chassis are clean and in good condition. For an additional charge, we can professionally repair the bodywork and, if desired, carry out partial repainting. Maintenance work as well as the fitting of new tires can also be arranged by us.

The starter batteries have already been replaced and we have test driven the vehicle – it runs very well. Engine, gearbox, and rear axle are all dry (free of leaks).

The vehicle is fitted with a long rear axle and a locking differential, axle ratio 40:11 (I = 3.636). With this setup, the Vario reaches 124 km/h (according to vehicle documents), and it is not speed-limited.

From March 2028, the vehicle will qualify for historic registration, which reduces road tax to just €195 per year.

Repair packages in our workshop available at extra cost:
1) Maintenance: incl. engine oil & brake fluid change, new drag link = from €900 incl. VAT
2) Tires: currently outdated, on request 6 new tires 205/75 R22.5 124/122 M in M+S incl. fitting = from €1,400 incl. VAT
3) Bodywork: repairs under gas compartment and additional hatches left, under right-hand swing door and right hatches = from €4,500 incl. VAT
4) Exterior polish: all visible surfaces except upper middle roof section = €800 incl. VAT
5) TÜV inspection (MOT), emissions test, and technical change of vehicle classification (currently still Special Vehicle/Police) = €450 incl. VAT
