Product Description

The horizontal metal bandsaw with a pivoting saw arm enables cuts both perpendicular to the axis of the workpiece as well as at any angle within the range of 0° to 60°.

The material to be cut can be fed manually or using any mechanical feeding system, while the tool feed is automatic.

The blade guides are equipped with special carbide plates and bearings, which have a significant effect on the blade guidance, its service life, straightness, as well as the accuracy and quality of the cut.

The saw arm, featuring a rigid construction, is made from profiled cast iron, ensuring high stability and low vibrations during cutting. The machine's control panel is located on the saw arm.

The drive from the electric motor to the drive wheel of the saw blade is transmitted through a worm gear. The saw blade is tensioned across two cast iron wheels and guided by a manual tensioning mechanism as well as adjustable rolling and sliding carbide blade guides.

Inside the machine there is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump, which increases the service life of the saw blade and improves the cutting quality.

The descending speed of the saw arm (cutting speed) is regulated by a hydraulic cylinder, while the feed rate is set via the machine's control panel. Two saw blade speeds are available: 36 and 72 m/min.

Once the saw arm reaches its lowest position (after cutting through the material), the saw blade drive automatically switches off.

Safety is ensured by:

- Saw blade guard covers
- Micro switches that stop the motor when the cutting cycle is complete or a guard is opened
- Automatic machine shutdown in case of saw blade breakage
