UniCen Series – for large, complex components

With Monforts machine tools of the UniCen 1000 Series, you can machine large, complex workpieces (up to 1,500 mm turning length and 1,000 mm swing diameter) in a single setup—completely, process-reliably, and cost-effectively.

Maximum flexibility is provided by the five interpolating axes. The rotatable boring-milling head around the B-axis, with a swivel range of 190º, positions the tools in almost any position and angle to the workpiece. In addition, the tool head can be automatically loaded with up to 90 tools from a chain magazine by a fully automatic tool changer. This enables the manufacturing of even complex freeform surfaces with high surface quality.
