The High Quality Press Brake, or HQPB for short, represents the top model among Placke press brakes. The entire manufacturing process—from the hydraulic cylinder to the control cabinet—is carried out in-house. By integrating state-of-the-art technology with decades of experience in forming technology, the HQPB series enables precision bending at the highest level. Even the standard base model is a fully functional press brake. This package of safety, reliability, and efficiency, combined with straightforward operation, allows us to meet the highest demands and accuracies in the bending process.
Machine Frame:
- Base machine manufactured from S 355 N steel
- Side frames with 2 pressure pipes and integrated top-mounted oil tank, welded design
- Above-floor configuration
- Paint finish (2-component structural coating), light grey (RAL 7035) and signal grey (RAL 7004)
Upper Beam:
- Press beam stress-relieved by annealing
- Penetration depth measurement, reading head guided via ball rail system
- Separate Y1 and Y2 controls, electronic tilt monitoring
Hydraulic System:
- Hydraulic proportional valve control with electronically monitored cylinder synchronization
- Solid steel cylinders with induction-hardened piston rods
- Low-noise internal gear pump
Punch Clamping:

2 aluminum support arms at the front, approx. 600 mm long, incl. 2 flip stops, measuring tapes, and plastic wear strips. The support arms are movable along a ball-bearing linear rail and can be height-adjusted for dies from 55 mm to 100 mm via an elongated slot. The ball guide is milled into the lower beam.
