The Mechatronics RPU-2100R is a reagent production unit used in the field of hematology to optimize reagent logistics in laboratories.
The device is manufactured by RR Mechatronics and is often used in combination with hematology analyzers from Sysmex.

Purpose and Function

The RPU-2100R (Reagent Production Unit) is designed to automatically dilute concentrated reagents (such as Cellpack S Conc.) and produce large quantities of ready-to-use reagent on site in the laboratory.

The RPU-2100R is a stand-alone device with all components housed in a sealed enclosure. The housing is equipped with removable, epoxy-coated sheet metal panels. All external connections as well as the ON/OFF switch are located at the rear of the unit. All components that can be maintained and replaced by the user are accessible via the front door. The trolley for the Cellpack concentrate (e.g. Cellpack®-S Conc.) can be docked to any of 3 sides of the device.

Throughput per concentrate:
A 10L container can process up to 8,250 blood counts per month without a reagent change.
A 20L container allows for up to 16,500 blood counts per month.
Shelf life: The prepared reagent has a shelf life of 30 days after opening.
