The drilling method used by the deep hole drilling machine is single-lip drilling.

The BW250-T is a deep hole drilling and milling center equipped with two separate spindles for deep hole drilling and milling operations. The machining units share an additional common travel axis, allowing even smaller workpieces to be machined on four sides on the clamping table without repositioning.
