Thumm SU100 P Current/UV Dip Impregnation System with Exhaust Air Purification System

The current/UV impregnation process is an innovative dip method for low-voltage round wire windings. In this process, a low DC voltage is applied to the winding, and the necessary process heat is generated very efficiently by current flow. When the preheated winding is immersed, the impregnating resin becomes thin and can penetrate even the smallest cavities. As heating continues, the impregnation resin gels on the hot conductors of the winding, while after dipping it flows off the cooler laminated core.

The winding is heated and dried by electrical current. UV lamps cure the photosensitive resin on the laminated core.

By eliminating conventional oven drying, both energy and time are saved. Together with the use of a low-emission impregnating agent, the environmental impact is extremely positive.
