Voortman VB1050

This Voortman VB1050 bandsaw is designed for the efficient cutting of structural steel profiles up to a profile size of 1,000 mm and a profile length of 19,000 mm. This CNC-controlled Voortman VB 1050 bandsaw features dual mitre adjustment (left/right), a length-measuring carriage, and infeed and outfeed roller conveyors for material handling.

Working Ranges:

At a 90° cut, the working range is 500 mm x 1,130 mm
At a +/- 45° mitre cut, the working range is 500 mm x 725 mm
At a +/- 60° mitre cut, the working range is 500 mm x 470 mm

Equipped with a saw blade measuring 9,550 x 54 x 1.6 mm, this bandsaw delivers precise cuts. The machine weight without accessories is approximately 8,500 kg.

Programming of the Voortman VB1050 is managed via a Vacon 110 CNC control system.

A distinctive feature of the Voortman VB series is the movable saw table, where the saw blade and cutting area move synchronously. This ensures the saw blade never cuts into the table and allows for stepless rotation for precise angle cuts. During mitre cuts, the table automatically lowers to permit unobstructed rotation to the next cutting angle.

For recommissioning, a new safety system must be sourced and implemented in accordance with local regulations (hardware & software; not included in the scope of supply!).
