Washing system:
The centerpiece of the PT series: Inside the machine, two S-shaped wash fields operate. Thanks to consistent flow optimization and special nozzle geometry, they ensure comprehensive water coverage and thus deliver first-class washing results—using as little as 2.2 liters per cycle for rinsing. Quality is visible down to the last detail: Durable stainless steel axles guarantee smooth rotation and contribute to the outstanding reliability of the PT-XL.

Variable wash pressure adjustment:
Every Winterhalter PT-XL is equipped with standard variable water pressure regulation: VarioPower adjusts the washing pressure precisely to the items being washed and the level of soiling. Fine glassware and delicate bowls are cleaned at lower pressure, while sturdy dishes are washed at higher water pressure. This ensures stubborn dirt is reliably removed, light and fragile items are handled gently, and everything is kept securely in place.

Wastewater heat recovery:
A clear advantage of the PT series: EnergyLight wastewater heat recovery comes as standard. The heat exchanger utilizes the energy of the wastewater to pre-heat the incoming cold water. Benefits include faster heating between wash cycles, resource conservation, and energy savings of up to 10%.

Exhaust air heat recovery:
The PT-XL Energy Plus also features exhaust air heat recovery. In addition to standard wastewater heat recovery, an exhaust air heat exchanger is integrated. This makes use of the warm steam inside the machine to pre-heat the incoming cold water. When the machine is opened, hardly any warm, moist water vapor escapes into the room. This allows energy cost savings of up to 15% per wash cycle.
