ZERMA ZPS

ZERMA single-shaft shredders of the ZPS series offer universal application options.

They are suitable for shredding heavy and solid parts that cannot be directly processed in a granulator. The large and heavy rotor of the ZPS shredder series, combined with low rotor speed and high torque, ensures low power peaks and thus prevents high energy costs.

Single-shaft shredders from the ZPS series are designed for a wide range of applications. Depending on requirements, the shredded material can be used directly in the processing workflow or can be further granulated in a downstream granulator.

Shredders from the ZPS series are equipped with a two-stage hydraulic system that prevents rotor blocking. Blades and blade holders are fully bolted to the rotor. Generously sized, externally mounted rotor bearings and a hydraulically tilting screen cradle are standard features on every shredder.

The machines can be expanded or upgraded with numerous options, such as rotor cooling or Hardox wear protection armor.

Compared to the ZSS shredders, the ZPS series machines feature a higher pressure device, which optimizes the intake between pusher and rotor, especially when processing large-volume parts or pipes.
